Our mission
Generate an added value on biodiversity through research, conservation, outreach and environmental education, for the benefit of the environment, local communities and future generations.
Who We Are
Inka Terra Asociación (ITA) is a Peruvian non‑profit that applies research and knowledge to biodiversity conservation, restoration, education and sustainable development.
Since 1978, ITA has worked across diverse ecosystems in Peru, building long-term knowledge through fieldwork and collaboration with local communities.

In 50 years, Inkaterra didn’t build hotels; it built the case for a rainforest worth more standing than cut down.
